Police cars and storage facilities are housed on the ground floor of the building, while offices, including private offices and open-plan workspaces for employees, make up the majority of the first and second floors. Police personnel were relocated from the old station site on Recreation Street, resulting in an increase in police presence throughout the Tweed Heads region.​
