Macquarie College Seniors Building
A striking 2-storey educational facility featuring innovative circular architecture and mass timber construction. The 2,600 square metre building houses modern classrooms, design labs, library with amphitheatre, community spaces, and a student café designed specifically for senior students to collaborate, learn, and socialise.
The building showcases unique circular footprint with feature oculus, innovative mass timber elements (CLT, GLT) with radial beam layout, CLT spiral staircase and GLT columns, patterned pre-cast concrete load-bearing facade walls, and double-height glazing enclosing the library amphitheatre.
