Macquarie College Seniors Building​

New South Wales Education

A striking 2-storey educational facility featuring innovative circular architecture and mass timber construction. The 2,600 square metre building houses modern classrooms, design labs, library with amphitheatre, community spaces, and a student café designed specifically for senior students to collaborate, learn, and socialise. ​

​The building showcases unique circular footprint with feature oculus, innovative mass timber elements (CLT, GLT) with radial beam layout, CLT spiral staircase and GLT columns, patterned pre-cast concrete load-bearing facade walls, and double-height glazing enclosing the library amphitheatre.
