The iconic Merewether Beach Hotel got a complete makeover across three levels, completed in stages to keep the business operating. Every floor now serves food and drinks for different occasions – from casual beers to special events. The challenge was updating a heritage building while keeping its character intact. Three construction phases meant coordinating structural work around ongoing operations, blending the hotel’s coastal history with what modern hospitality demands.
